Rio de Janeiro Weather Information
Rio de Janeiro enjoys some of the best weather in the world. It is in the tropics and can best be compared to Florida weather. Expect most days to be warm or sometimes hot, with a high relative humidity and lots of sunshine. Does it rain in Rio? Absolutely. After all, the reason that the tropics are so green is due to the substantial rainfall. However, it is not uncommon to have both rain and sunshine on the same day. Seasons are reversed from the Northern Hemisphere, so winter in Brazil is from late June to late September. Winters are typically mild, with lower humidity.
